Yay! Our equipment has now arrived! Now we will have our wonderful apple student, Miss Brittany, train our students in the weeks to come on the proper use of the i-pads, and off we should be going on our projects. We can't wait for everyone to view our wonderful projects!
The arrival of the pumpkins! The family of Room 33 did an amazing job on working together with their child on decorating their pumpkins! They're all so unique and creative! Each year, I am surprised at the creativity that enters into our classroom. I hope you all enjoyed this family project!
The fall festival is a little over a week away. This event is to help raise enough funding to provide two ipads for every classroom at Eastwood. What an amazing goal! With that in mind, please help contribute what you can with a donation to go toward our "hair" booth. It sounds like our booth will be a successful one!
We had a special visit today by Mr. Speth! Seeing him gave us all a glimpse of hope that our equipment will arrive soon. He also helped get our class website up. I can't believe it...our webpage is up!! Thank you for your visit today Mr. Speth!
Today was our very first lesson as first graders for the Meet the Masters Art program. Our students were exposed to the artist Rembrandt. We learned a great deal about this artist and this time period. From our class, Cameron Fisher was chosen to model as Rembrandt. He did a wonderful job as Rembrandt!
